Let’s commence with verse.

To bring in the battle, I think it’s appropriate to post these few verses of Oliver St. John Gogarty, to show what kind of values this blog endorses, and under what sort of flag it enters the field of battle.

“We are, as our fathers were,

Lovers of the swift and strong,

Lovers of the open air,

Lovers of the horse and song

And the glories of the voice

In the deeds to be retold.

Therefore let us now rejoice

As the kings rejoiced of old.”

So do I. And thank you.

This is an example of a typical Nathan Blog comment, hurling quotes without warranting them, enacting claims without evidence.

This is an example of a typical comment of Hunter’s; using a comma where he should have at least a semicolon, failing to understand the evidence implicit in his competitor’s post.

Commas will due. ‘Tis the experimental nature of blogs which are slowly and rigorously ripping apart the conventions of old. And many people are rejoicing of this new way of I am being intentional. The comment above is one thought not to be subordinated or delayed by an indecent semicolon ( ;) ).

You will never get a post out if you concern is conventions. Blogs are forums for experiment and intentionality.

In response to your comment on my post, Hot Chip = Soothsayers, a few lines from the awkwardly poetic Mickey Avalon:

“My dick- V.I.P. / Your shit needs I.D…My dick is like an M16 / Your dick- broken vending machine”

Well, seeing as Hunter has a uTube video in his blog this war is getting much closer; but Nathan did defend himself against barbiebrains…

    Who’s winning???????????????????

    I just don’t know.

    I do.
Surely I am not the only one aware that Hunter cannot distinguish truth from fiction. With each passing day our senses are besieged by yet another You Tube travesty. And for what?
Yes, Hunter’s blog may have its bells and whistles, but Nathan’s alone realizes that truest of adages: “Brevity is the soul of wit.” Nathan’s alone remains dedicated to the pursuit of that which cannot be quickly and thoughtlessly “posted” for the greater stupification of the “postmodern” masses.
Nathan, you may count me and my tremendous ovaries among the faithful to your cause.
